Wee Waa High School

Project Overview


Wee Waa High School has been redeveloped to deliver new learning spaces, modern core facilities including a library and multipurpose hall, a new agricultural and environment centre, sports fields, and sports courts as well as a new Indigenous Cultural Centre. 


WTC was engaged to:

  • Complete the civil works for construction of the high school.
  • Undertake flood mitigation works surrounding the high school.
  • Upgrade to stormwater drainage in the vicinity of the high school.


Scope of Works

  • Demolition and Site Preparation including Bulk and
  • Detailed Earthworks.
  • Internal stormwater construction.
  • Car park and bicycle storage construction.
  • Construction of internal roads and footpaths.
  • Construction of Sports Courts.
  • Construction of sporting fields.
  • Construction of Bus Bay passenger set down area.
  • Resealing of external roads.
  • Major Upgrade to the local stormwater system improving floodwater control.
